India’s leading dairy brand, Amul, has extended its successful partnership with the Argentina Football Association (AFA) as the Official Regional Sponsor for another season. This renewal marks the fourth consecutive year of association, extending through the period of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Amul holds the unique position of being the first Indian regional sponsor in the history of Argentine football, a partnership that began in 2022.

Claudio Fabian Tapia, AFA President, praised the renewal, calling Amul’s confidence a “symbol of our team growth and passion in India.”

Jayen Mehta, Managing Director at Amul, highlighted the shared spirit: “Just like football, Amul connects hearts across borders… This collaboration celebrates the shared energy that drives both sport and nutrition.”

The partnership has significantly strengthened brand visibility in India since AFA established its presence in early 2021. Looking ahead, Amul and AFA are set to launch a special range of Amul products featuring Argentina players, along with exclusive jerseys and fan merchandise for Indian supporters.

This successful extension underscores Amul’s massive scale as India’s largest food marketing organization, with an annual turnover of $11 billion, and reflects AFA’s commitment to building strong brand relationships in key international markets.
