Gujarati music sensation Kairavi Buch is officially off the market! The popular singer tied the knot with her fiancé, Jaydip Chauhan, a pulmonologist, on December 14th in a beautiful ceremony. Kairavi shared her joy, exclusively telling us, “My wedding felt like a fairy tale and I am really happy to have married an amazing person like him.”
A Regal Affair in Rajkot
The wedding festivities took place at a stunning heritage hotel in Rajkot, setting the stage for a grand, heritage-themed celebration. “It was a heritage-themed wedding and we had great fun,” the singer revealed.
- Musical Touches: Kairavi, a singer through and through, wrote and performed a special song for the sangeet ceremony. The emotional highlight was the varmala ceremony, where a song she had recorded, composed by Amar Khandha, was played, making the moment “even more special.”
- Traditional Roots: The wedding was a traditional Gujarati ceremony featuring Vedic rituals, attended by approximately 500 guests.
- Star-Studded Guest List: Well-wishers from the Gujarati music industry were present, including Santvani Trivedi, Umesh Barot, and Manu Rabari.
The Dream Outfit: A Bold Bridal Look
Forget the typical trends! Kairavi opted for a unique and stunning bridal outfit designed by Anjali Gandhi.
“I opted for an orange-coloured lehenga, as I wanted something different from what’s trending right now,” she shared. The magnificent ensemble weighed a hefty 22kg, and the dupatta featured their adorable wedding hashtag: #KAIसेJAYतक.
A Career-Supportive Partnership
The singer is delighted to have found a supportive partner in Dr. Jaydip Chauhan. “Jaydip and his family are extremely supportive about my career and it’s a blessing for any bride-to-be,” she said.
Ending the year on a high note, Kairavi recently returned to performing, successfully rocking the stage in Vadodara this Navratri after a break. Now, with the wedding success, she says, “the year is ending on the best possible note.”
Honeymoon Plans Await
While fans eagerly anticipate post-wedding vacation photos, the couple has pressed pause on immediate plans. “With this being the wedding season, I will be occupied with work and Jaydip will also be busy for the next couple of months,” Kairavi explained. The good news? They plan to head out for a nice vacation in March next year!
Congratulations to Kairavi and Jaydip! We wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness.
